With or without the stupak ammendment, PelosiCare will have to pass through the Senate.

I'm considering writing to some of the moderate democrats there (if any really exist). If enough people write to the more swayable Senators, maybe they'll change their minds about voting to pass the National Healthcare. Granted, it may be an exercise in futility, but it COULD be worthwhile.

Whether I do so or not, I enjoyed this video.

@WimMagwit , Urge your state legislature to do as 17 states have done and pass a State Bill to impede the current federal mandate. The States get to decide what happens within their borders, even if the federal government signs it into law. Urge your state representatives to fight this thing tooth and nail. Call their offices, get like-minded individuals to do the same. If the States disallow it, the federal government can't force it.

It seems as if you are framing this as if the original bill was pro-abortion when there was no stance taken. The Stupak Amendment is basically an attempt backdoor limitations on abortions without addressing abortion laws directly.

I'm not some articulate economist, but I am voluntarily conservative, Catholic, and a Pro-Life Libertarian.

These people make me sick, and I will say, though I cannot endorse or encourage abortion clinic bombings in any way, I'm neither shocked nor appalled when I hear about a new one.
