Apparently A3-102 is missing it's avionics and obviously the Avon engine. I would imagine a whole lot more has been removed as well. The toughest part of restoring one of these airframes is to keep it airworthy. A tough call for anyone considering the cost involved. Definitely a beautiful aircraft and a damn shame there is not one flying the airshow circuit.
There was about 15 of them sitting in storage out at Woomera in the late 90's. No buyers. No one wanted them. Even the French didn't want them back! Does anyone know what their fate was??
@juzzi07 There is a single seat Mirage IIIO being restored in Victoria, not sure when they intend to fly it though. Still a lot of work to be done I believe.
Very nice, I love the Mirage! I was up at Amberley the other day and enquired about their Mirage, everyone said that there wasn't one on base!
About an hour later I was walking past a restoration hangar and there it was: painted light grey with the 60's era red markings on the intakes. Beautifully preserved!

@BROOKS39
I believe all the Australian Mirage III's were sold to Pakistan in the 90's (?)
