I'd be very suprised if this was true

@Dutchificationable the explanation is simple: that episode had to be shot in very thight conditions, such destroyed buildings and ruins ( btw, WATCH IT! ). So "ultra professional equipment" cannot be used in those places, because of the dimension.

Using a 5D allowed them to have a "professional look" cutting out costs.
