What realy depressing and unfair is that Lana,as a mere human goes trough

harsher "trials" with far lesser support and guidance than Clark troughout

the show but gets robbed in the end of the one love she ever longed for as

punishment for having achieved to develop herself into an independend

individual AND a player on the board. She then quickly gets turned into

kinda saint,GTFOed and forgotten. Thats utterly terrible.

The show definitively crossed the line here for me.

@Suuuuumaaa What the scriptwriters did in Smallville was bad. I mean realy bad.

I thought it was bad what the scriptwriters did to Liz and Max in Roswell or even Anna

and Jeremy in the Vampire Diaries,but Lana and Clark in Smallville tops that easily.

And they did it also with Alicia and Clark. But its common i guess to cast a

screen-couple for good chemistry then exploit them for a melodramatic rollercoaster.
