its so hard watching him sit there in his awkward movements talking about this. Do u see how hard he is trying to sit still, hes almost gonna rip his leg off trying to hold on to it. I dont pity him but i do find it saddening. He is a respectable person.

My grandmother had parkinson's. It is truely a tough thing for someone to go through. This upsets me becuase it reminds me of my own grandmother's struggle. I feel for michaael j fox but at the same time i have great admiration for him

Kudos to Michael for having the guts to go on national television and talk so frankly about his disease.
Like he said, "I don't want your pity." And I don't feel sorry for him; I just know he needs our help! Couldn't we please stop all of the political fights on these comments and instead, do like he said: "Respect each other." I, for one, feel that we should put our energy towards finding a cure for terrible diseases like this one, no matter the method, and respect people like Mike.
