Can someone get a shhort history on what happend that they ended in the crystal for 3 years, i just "discovered" that game. The playthrough looks interesting i i would like to watch it.
@pablo89gdy I have recorded and uploaded the entire DOTD playthrough, and this christmas I intend to upload the entire playthrough of ANB. However I also own the eternal nights, which tells the back story of how they ended up in the crystal in the first place.
If you'd like, I'll go ahead and record it over the christmas break, though DOTD picks up right where TEN leaves off, so that's at the very end of TEN.
I can tell you if you want, or if you'd rather wait for it, it will be here!

i have the ps2 version actually...and the first thing i thought was this spyro games is like a "god of war for children"....to much influenced...but the game is funny...it just...i like the background music tough...
trust me, the wii is a capable machine (the conduit should show you that) it just depends on how much graphical effort the game developers are willing to put in a game
Why is it that Spyro met Hunter here for the first time but met the same Hunter in Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage? Please answer I'm have no idea how it's possible.
No problem, I'm glad to hear this, cus I put a month of effort to get to this point. However I still have frame lag during actual game play, so I've been doing more testing.
I intend to do the playthrough all over again once I get it figured out.
some parts with big rooms will contain frame rate loss, this is due to the unusual dimension output format of the game. to keep this type of quality, I had to stretch dramatically the capture size at 800x240, which tested the limits of my recorder.
other games I will be posting will not have this frame rate issue, so please bear with it atleast till I finish this game. thanks for y our patience!
and doesnt the purple wall look familier like from spyro a new beggining or spyro eternal darkness?

Really good graphics for a Wii game and impressive little... you almost can call these movies. Really nice.
But I don't like the Gameplay. I played the three old games on the PSone where Spyro was a classic plattforming game.
But I think I'll still watch this LP...
This game looks interesting. And it's a Spyro game...

I watched 18 parts now (the rest tomorrow).
Yeah, it's not bad. The graphics and especially the cutscenes (how often did I say that now? xD) are really impressive for a Wii game.
I like it too, that it's more adult than the... lets call them a-bit-childish old plattforming games.
But well, plattforming is my favourite game genre ;)

yep, same opinion here.
Look at mario kart Wii and compare it to Mario Galaxy. Both from Nintendo, both for Wii but Galaxy has much much better graphics.
Or look at F-zero GX (Gamecube). I was surprised how good that was.

Spyro knows who hunter is, but he wasn't aware that Hunter was tracking him until they met

Year of the dragon is a completely different series
the legend of spyro series consist of 3 games
Legend of Spyro: A new Beggining
Legend of Spyro: Eternal Nights
Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon
But yes, these games came out after the year of the dragon, so you could say it is after year od the dragon

No, Enter the Dragonfly and A hero's Tail are between the old and the Legend games.
