The white bottle is a vacuum tank. A small 12V air pump pulls air out of the bottle, which is connected to the brake master cylinder. That runs the power brakes. A vacuum switch on the tank turns the pump off when it has sucked enough vacuum.
No clutch at all! It is surprisingly easy to shift this electric car without one. It does take just a tad longer - 2 seconds to shift instead of half a second. No big deal. Works fine!

Looks like you got the same answer on "ecomodder" forum that I gave prior to your reposting of this video. I like the idea of coil over rear shocks as an added help and or making a thicker upper spring seat.

Just wondering have you put a clutch on this car or are you just timing the shifts?

Hard as hell on synchros. Don't expect 100k miles out of that trans. lol

I'd still check and see if the 5 door wagon might have heaver rear spring rating.
