@madcapoperator I have a Korg MS10 and MS20! more primitive than a microkorg. I agree 1982 would be a great year. I still love 1981 and would be my ultimate favourite, I love the menacing gloom of that year's material and Movement.
Other great electronic tracks from 1981 - Senses, Chosen Time, Truth, Cries And Whispers and Peel Sessions' Too Late from 1982.
@madcapoperator Really?! Interesting to hear, thanks. They're just sitting here in my living room, I still play around with them a lot, but haven't recorded anything for years. The MS10 is missing the top white key, but they still go great (30yrs old?). By contrast my Roland S550 sampler from 1988 crapped out 3 yrs ago, won't read the floppies anymore.
@madcapoperator Gillian looks great in a documentary I saw last night called Top Ten Electropop Pioneers, but it was from early 2000s I think, still looks pretty hot in that.
This is one of the songs which begins to take New Order in a decidedly more electronic and dance music route for the next decade. The other similar sounding songs are Everything's Gone Green and Temptation. From there came Power, Corruption, and Lies and Blue Monday.

@chrisnoaro1 what would be the average price for a Korg MS10/ MS20? No more than £400 right....? :)

1982, the year I would like to see new order play more than any other. Or maybe 83?

The flashing lights would trigger Ian Curtis's epileptic fits, they always used static spots...this continued for a while after Ian died apparently.
