Stock GT looses against the Stock Type R any day of the week.
The S-Type R has shares the same transmission as the M5 BMW and it is a beast [top of the line gear box]. It also makes this cool noise. Don't know If anyone knows what im talking about?
I have a jag S-TYPE R, and I agree with you, AbrahamyanoMax, the Jaguar is much better than the Mustang, with mine, I beat a Ferrari 360 Modena, then, driver of the Jaguar is either prudent or he forgot to remove the handbrake!
I myself can never take a Mustang over a Jag', specially the S-Type R. But I truly worship the sound of that Mustang at the one run before the last. Wonder if that is the stock exhaust or not.
Alright to everyone who has watched this..The jag doesnt have tranny problems i own it.. The tires were so balled the metal was showing and everytime i tried taking off from a low gear it was spinning the rev limiter which would just cut out my car and not let the gears switch. "how can you miss gears on an autoamtic jag. also the mustang is running on hoosier slicks. But im not dogging on the stang put a blower on the stang and it would be gone..
HAAAA hell yea the jag killed it when it tried. I have an '03 stype R and that shit can't have tranny problems it's an automatic. At first it looks like the jag isn't trying cause at the end it pulls through and kills that mustang!!!!! Alll for the Jag
@Chrisss91 Jag has 400hp stock at 6100 rpm's and it shifts 1st gear at 5300 and second gear at 5900 which is why that car kills everything from a 2nd gear roll. My car missed 5th gear several times at 135mph where it wouldn't go in gear at all like how this one missed 3rd or it would hit so hard it felt like the tires broke loose. Just to let u know it costs $6500 for a new trans LoL
It's very very hard to beat a R from 50mph and my car has missed gears several times where it just doesn't go into the next gear hits the rev limiter a few times then goes into the correct gear.
yeah and try that race but to top speed. that jag would kill. my dad has the same one and its electronically limited to 155. and the guy couldnt have misssed gears the thing is semi auto the onboard computer automattically shifts for you if you come too close to redline.
the s-type R is a fucking awsome car,THE mustang is nice too my mom has the RS turbo, 35th aniversry it sucks, breaks all the time, on the outher hand the jag will always kill the mustang a becuase it has POWERBANDS witch from moveing 25 35 45 55 65 it jumps to the lower gear for a boost of more power.
to be fair at no point are you killing the jag. Yeah you take off earlier than the jag then as soon as it looks like the jags is catching up at a pouncing jaguar style pace your camera suddnely switches off....strange. American cars cannot compare to euro cars. And yes jags are owned by ford, and for that reason jaguars are pretty shit really. I do love America tho just shit cars lol.

I have an S type R, it won't upshitft automatically.... trust me. It just bounces off redline and sounds like it's going to blow up

Your s-type R is fucked if it does that. Ive driven one and trust me it shifts awesome, with its 6 speed zf auto.
