By "anyone" you're obviously referring to majors because I believe their last few albums have been put out on Lex records who actually have a very impressive catalog.
i have always wondered about the people in the crowd in these videos. maybe they are so fascinated by doseone and subtle they cannot do anything but stand and stare like zombies.
Arktisk, Read bassbole's comment on why he can't keep his breath up. Also, to everyone if you say it's bad or horrible, once you can do it better and video yourself doing it; Then you can say it's bad.
dose is a great preformer no doubt. My only thing would be to say that the people he are with(in any band hes in) should do more of the vocals to compensate for not being able to do punch ins like on studio versions. Normally he tries to say every word himself and it runs him short of breath, which can drag the preformance in some spots
also jinx, if u mean the artist staement for a new white( Well, at least, I consider it an artist staement.) I think it fits perfectly. I know he can be hard to understand at times, but go back and check out the lyrics, having read that statement/poem, whatever actually helped me to understand this song much better.
what i really mean, is it sounds awkward...doesnt really fit the production values they had on the last album. he usually puts more effort into vocal transformations and effects and such..
also dose said there was a sotryline/theme that followed from a new white..definitely doesnt sound like it from this song.. this just sounds like a party song
This song is about the main character's unique bloodtype becomming "the latest craze". All of a sudden, everybody wants some of his 'priceless red-wet'.
Seems like it's their artistic way of expressing "overnight fame".
If you need help understanding the story, the lyrics are on Subtle's myspace. It's a challenging read and well worth it.
The intro is supposed to set the tone for the song... The song's plot is "If you could pump out all your blood, to buy luxury blood, would you do it?" The song is very meaningful no matter how you take it... plus its just the single from the album... who knows... there could be a wicked story. Yes dose does alot of the vocals... and the band could back him up more then they do... but damn... crazy ass song. We, so proprietor, of all this priceless redwet...
