it's the king and the queen who lives around 2000 years ago. the king failed and surounded by enemies. Then his wife performmed the last sword dance for him and then suicide in front of him. then around a few days he suicided too in the river.

@MpLMx but a long time ago, men had to act the role of females. it was hilarious cuz i saw one of those versions. the dude portrayed a female well even the smallest habits females naturally do are blended in very well

Absolutely stunningly beautiful. What materials do you use to make the makeup, specifically the white face makeup, if you don't mind me asking. I actually wanted to try some asian inspired cosplay(haven't decided between a spin on Kabuki or something more like this), but either way there is no makeup product generally available that I have found to be of a satisfying white consistency. It always looks half assed and not visually pleasing, unlike this beautifully done makeup job.

@BouBouMikuMikuBou actually the Chinese had invented the idea of putting vineger in rice and placing fish on top. However the japanese had took this idea and really made it popular. Also the kimono is an example of Chinese influence in Japanese culture.
