  • I have a 2010 Silverado crew cab, and I was woundering what kind of leveing kit i should get. the front end looks lower than the bae and I what it to look straight.

  • @Natalieee2013 For your Silverado we need more information. Is it 2WD or 4WD? 1500 or 2500HD? Gas or diesel engine? Please provide this information and we will be happy to show you what we carry to level out the nose down rake of your truck.

  • are torsion keys going to affect my ride quaity?

  • SOMEONE PLEASE ANSWER! I have an 03 Avalanche z66, can i put torsion keys up front plus a 3/4 coil spacer in the rear? I also want to put 285/70/17 bfg all terrains on. Would that set up work fine? It would lift the front end about two inches and about an inch in the rear right?

  • @UltimateAndroidFtw Hi, these torsion keys from Pro Comp include shock extensions, so you can run your stock shocks. This kit will allow you to run a tire up to 33 inches, so the 285/70/17 BFG’s will work just fine. Part number for kit - EXP63200. We also carry the rear spacers you’re looking for, use this part number to search them on the 4 Wheel Parts website - DAYKG09103BK. Hope this helps!

  • torsion keys do the same thing as cranking, they twist the bars more to lift the front. They mearly allow more lift they affect the ride the same.

  • 2003 z71 regular cab silverado 5.3L. I cranked the torsions bars, but I am wondering what kind of leveling kit will be cheap enough for a broke high school student like me. What would work with my truck?

  • @theconformativeone Pro Comp makes an affordable set of torsion keys that will get you up to 2.5 inches of front lift. Check out the Level Lift Torsion Key part # EXP63150.

  • What leveling kit would I use for a 2011 f150 2wd lariat? Then what would be the largest tire i could run?

  • @lsuftball1 The Level Lift Strut Spacer (product # EXP62160). With this kit you can run a 35 inch by 12.5 inch tire, with a 17 inch or larger wheel with 4.5 to 5.5 inches of backspace.

  • WILL I GET MORE INCHES OF LIFT IF I INSTALL BOTH THE TORSION KEYS AND THE STRUT SPACER ON MY 2006 z71 4door silverado?

  • @Trx450rallday You cannot run both a strut spacer and torsion keys. Your truck cannot be equipped with both torsion bar and coilover strut suspension, it has to be one or the other, depending on your vehicles suspension.

  • 2009 Dodge SLT 4wd 4.7L v8. What would be the best leveling kit w/o messing up the ride quality? Thanks.

  • @krobrien323 I would suggest Bilstein’s Ride Height Adjustable shock. For a Dodge Ram 1500 SLT 4WD: Bilstein 5100 Series Ride Height Adjustable Shock Absorber - 24-187367 (Part Number)

  • Will a body lift and leveling kit work together?

  • @StutteringJeeper Yes they will work together in most applications.

  • i have a couple of questions, firstly if i am looking to get around 4 inches of lift in the front and 2 in the back, whats the best way to go? leveling kit, suspension kit, or body lift? and will that amount of lift fit 35" tires? thanks!

  • @kicku4fun A leveling kit is not going to provide the amount of lift you are looking for. Leveling kits provide 2-3 inches of lift at best and only to the front. For what you are looking to do you are going to need a full suspension lift and I would need to know you vehicles application to determine if a 4/2 lift will accommodate the size tire you’re looking to run.

  • what would be the right leveling kit for a 2003 f 150 king ranch 4x4

  • @muddrider2014 The Level Lift Torsion Key

  • Great Videos! Maybe you can give me some advice for my truck, I have a 2006 Silverado 1500 regular cab, 8' bed, 4x4 and the front end is 4.5" lower than the rear. For leveling the truck, what would you recommend? Thanks

  • @wcodyw1990 In looking at the different leveling kits available it appears that there is no leveling kit that will raise the front of your vehicle the required 4.5 inches in order to make it level with the rear. That being the case you should look into a 4.5-5 inch complete suspension system and refrain from using the rear components except for the shocks. This should give you the level look that you are going for. Good luck!

  • Great vid! I have a 06 Dodge 3500 Cummins Dually, a 09 Dodge 1500 and as of yesterday...a nice 06 Dodge 2500 Power Wagon Hemi...which (obviously) I got this one used...and the dealer couldnt tell me if it had been lifted...but it is noticably higher than the other two! It came with 33 inch tires on 17 inch rims. This is my first "nice" truck in my opinion...because I am a contractor and dont get to have much fun! LOL! Can I put some 35 inch tires on this baby without causing too much trouble??

  • @TheFloorBoys If it has a small lift 35 inch tires will fit but it would have to be seen to make sure. The 35 inch tires will be one inch closer to everything compared to the 33's.

  • I have a stock 2002 chevy silverado 1500 2WD and I'd like to bring the front level with the back. What kit should I use? And I'll buy it from you.

  • @josephfoster30 Pro Comps part number 63175 will work for you as well. You can search for the following part number on 4WheelParts: EXP63175 or give Simon Chism a call at 800-337-9005 ext: 5317 if you have any questions.

  • I have a stock 2005 GMC Sierra 1500 2wd, and i just want to get the front end level with the rear end, what would be the best level kit for me? Thanks!

  • @crackersam88 The Pro Comp Level Lift Coil Spacers, part number 63175, will bring the front of your truck up 2.5 inches and will give your truck a more even stance.

  • @4WHEELPARTS Will i have to get new shocks or will the old one be good? Thanks for the help.

  • @crackersam88 Your current shocks should be fine when bringing the front of your truck up 2.5 inches to level it out.

  • I have a 2000 Dodge Ram 2500 LWB 4X4 SPORT. Im Just looking for a kit to jack the front end up about 2 inches to level the truck out. Suggestions?

  • @xXBIGRED340Xx A Poly Leveling Kit from Pro Comp would be the easiest way to lift the front of your truck two inches to level it out. The kit includes two coil spacers that are two inches tall and allow you to fit a 33 inch tire.

  • I see a lot of American truck lift questions, how about a 2002 Nissan Pathfinder? Can I use a Daystar spacer with that? Thanks

  • @Sledge1776 Unfortunately Daystar does not list a spacer for the 2002 Nissan Pathfinder

  • i have a 2002 f150 2wd .... wut would be the best choice for it?

  • I have a 2008 Ram 1500 4x4, what would be my best choice in a leveling kit? Thanks!

  • @DodgeMan360 Pro Comp Part # EXPLL-1090 is a great leveling kit. If you add a good set of shocks, the vehicle will ride like stock and have a great stance. I can't add links in a comment, but if you'd like a direct link to the leveling kit on the 4 Wheel Parts website, send me a direct message and I'll be happy to send it to you.

  • I have 02 Tacoma, and was looking to get a leveling kit, and was looking at a toytec 2.5 inch kit. Are those types of kits difficult to install with limited tools?

  • i have a 95 chevy z71 with a 3inch body lift on it now and i have a set of 3 inch rear blocks for it (not installed) and i was thinking about buying the new maxcam torsion keys that can give 3inches in the front for mine , would that work for my setup

  • @rradford43 A 3" lift kit with just torsion keys would be a bit excessive. I would recommend not exceeding a 2" lift with torsions before doing something with your upper ball joint angle.

  • QUESTION! 2009 F150.. Iv Installed.. a 3" Front.. leveling "strut spacer? I think thats what it is.. Anyhow Iv herd 3" can be to much? cause damage to the truck?? Or premature wear or stress components?? Is this True.. ? I plan to do the 1.5 in the rear to compinsate.. But i dont see how 3" lift could be that hard on the front end? Its already installed so.. now im a bit worried.

  • @gerickex The concern would be at the upper ball joint. If it doesn't look like the ball joint is binding, then just make sure you align the vehicle and you should be fine.

  • I have a 2002 Dodge Ram 4x4 Quad cab. I love the truck, however, it looks like a two wheel drive because it sags so much in the front end. It's in serious need of leveling. Would the torsion key reindexing kit help me? Is there alot of fabricating that goes along with the kit installation. Thanks.

  • @shift808 Yes, if the vehicle is a 1500 then the torsion index will definitely help the height. If the torsions are truly worn out, you may need to replace them, but that is pretty rare.

  • @4WHEELPARTS Alright. Thank you for the reply. Yes, the vehicle is a 1500. I've read on various forums, etc that there was potential for the dreaded "death wobble". Could you elaborate on that? My truck drives and rides like a caddy as it sits right now. I'm willing to sacrifice "some" amount of comfort to make the thing look like "I" think it should. However, I'd rather not endanger myself, nor my passengers. I drive this thing daily to and from work -90 mile round trip. Is this a problem?

  • @shift808 The death wobble usually stems from 2 things:

    1. The track bar is worn, allowing the front end to move side to side uncontrolled

    2. Tires are worn unevenly and it makes the worn front end components worse.

Almost every instance I have encountered with death wobble has been caused by tires. Make sure that your tires are new and maintained and you should be fine.

  • @4WHEELPARTS Ok. Thank you very much. That helps alot. I just didn't wanna shell out the cash for a leveling kit and it cause problems, or endanger myself or passengers. I do not know why Dodge, or any company would send a "4x4" off the line and it sit like a 2x4. I'm sure there is a logical reason, but it's nuts to me. I'm 35 years old and do not want a monster truck, but I would like for people to not look shocked when I tell them the truck is a 4x4. Drives me mad! Hah. Thanks again.

  • @shift808 No problem! Let us know if we can be of any further help.

  • @4WHEELPARTS I will! In addition, I know I'm a drop in the bucket, but I'll certainly be ordering my parts from you guys. Glad I found this channel.

  • i want to llevel my front by 2 inches with a rough country spacer will this affect my alignment much i have a 94 f150

  • @MegaMoto4 Yes, you will always want to realign your vehicle once you change the height. Otherwise, it will affect the wear on your tires, usually in a bad way.

  • i have a 95 z71 and it already has a 3inch body lift and i was wanting to get a little more without the big full suspension ones, so i was thinking about getting a leveling kit with the torsion keys in front and some 2inch block in rear, now would that be a good setup? thanks

  • @rradford43 That would work fine. Performance Accessories sells that exact setup as a combination for someone in your situation.

  • I have 2 Dodge Rams, and both have spacers installed. My '06 Ram has the Tuff Country 2" steel spacers, and they gave a full 2" of lift. My '99 Ram has the Daystar 1.5" polyurethane spacers, and they gave only 3/4" of lift. Some people had warned me that the Daystars don't give the lift they say. I went with it anyway because of the cheap price, but wish I had listened. Anyway, go with steel spacers if you want the full lift.

  • I have a 04 ford f150 stx I would like to get 2 to 3 inches up front to at least level with the back. which leveling kit would help. What part # would that be?

  • @marine34h I would go with the Daystar leveling kit on your vehicle. If you want it level, 2" should do the trick but only if you don't have anything in the bed like a toolbox/transfer tank or camper shell. The 2" kit is part # DAYKF09111BK and the 1" kit is part # DAYKF09115BK.

Please let us know if you need any further help! Also, you can call our sales dept. anytime and they can walk you through what they would recommend for your specific configuration.

  • And we love what we do and we love what we do and were here for u Ha cool video though very helpful in suming things up

  • great thanks for sharing. I have an 05 Chevy Silverado LT1500. Not sure which leveling kit would be good for me. Just want to give it a little beefier look without really digging into suspension kits. Which of the three do your recommend, and easy of installation for the DIY'ier driveway mechanic?

  • @clipdan All three setups utilize torsion keys to gain the lift up front, so they all should be of equal difficulty to install. Regarding the look, they are all rated to give a 2.5 lift so the look will be the same regardless of which product you buy.

  • @4WHEELPARTS... Great - thanks for the reply! and thanks for sharing the video.

  • @4WHEELPARTS I have a 2002 Dodge Ram 4x4 Quad cab. I love the truck, however, it looks like a two wheel drive because it sags so much in the front end. It's in serious need of leveling. Would the torsion key reindexing kit help me? Is there alot of fabricating that goes along with the kit installation. Thanks.

  • I bought an 03 Sierra. I have 285's on the stock rims now. I think the Tbars were cranked a little when I bought it. How can I tell how much? Also would I have to return it to stock height to add the torsion bar lift?

    Thanks

  • The torsion bar adjusting bolt will have to be removed to install the new keys so by default you will be removing all the preload out of the suspension.

In order to see how much it is cranked up, look at the bolts going through the cross member under the transmission where the rear end of the torsion bars attach. That bolt should be threaded in, but if it is close to being maxed out on the threads then the torsions have been cranked up at some point.

  • Cool man thanks. I'll be looking to get that. Can I still crank the bars with these keys in?

  • Yes, but the point of the keys is to give you some lift without having to crank the keys as much. If you max the keys you run the risk of stripping the bolt or breaking the nut block. Either result would be catastrophic.

  • I have a 03 Dodge Ram 4 Wheel Drive I already have a 305/55/20 tires on it but, I want to go atleast 6 to 7 inches . But with a leveling kit and a body lift ?

  • Is there such thing as a 3 inch lift? Because i want to lift my avalanche but dont have the money for a $2,000 4 inch lift or 6 inch lift!! Any Options??

  • Yes, you can get a leveling kit which will give you a 2.5" lift in the front. If you provide the year, make, and model of your vehicle, we can recommend which specific parts you will need.

  • What about if I am trying to fit 20x12 inch wheels and 33x12.5 inch tires? What kind of lift would you recommend for that so that the wheels fit perfect but dont rub as much.... and its a 2005 Avalanche z71

  • does anyone know if the performace acesorries leveling kit good for a titan i just want it for the look it says it would give you 5.5 inch lift so you can put 32 inch wheels on it does anyone have any recomedations for a good looking lift kit or leveling kit also i dont want to spend over 2500 to get it installed the site is Performance Accessories - Body Lifts, Premium Lift Systems, Gap Guards, Shackle Sets, Body Bushings, Skid Plates

  • The Performance Accessories leveling kit will lift the front of your Titan 2 in., making the front even with the rear. The premium lift system is the complete kit that will lift your Titan 5.5 inches. Titan Kit part number: PLS405.

The Performance Accessories Premium Lift System is a great choice for someone wanting to put larger tires on their truck & not spend a fortune doing it. You get premium appearance and quality without paying that big price tag, & get space for larger wheels & tires.

  • i want to install a leveling kit on my 05 dodge ram it is a 1'' lift for the front do you think that would be even?am i going to have to get longer shocks?or anything else?

  • The best way to verify how much rake you have is to measure from the bodyline to the center of the hub front and rear. 1" will normally still leave the vehicle a bit nose down but not much.

You will not have to replace your shocks but we would definitely recommend it since you will have the tires off. If you still have the factory shocks on the vehicle they are only good for around 25k miles. After that you will definitely need to replace those stock shocks.

  • thanks for the help man and teah im gunna replace the shocks they are really f?#ked up but i wanna wait for the leveling kit for the front thanks again!!!

  • Wearing black and holding black parts not really effective visuals. thanks for the help though
