  • what's the tune you're playing?

  • @echo4scream not a known tune, just a few jazzy chords inspired in SRV. Thanks for watching!

  • I love effects and always will. I will drown a guitar until it doesn't sound like its original tone anymore. But nothing gives me a bigger boner than hearing a nice vibrato and reverb from a classic tube amp. My God, there is nothing better...Not even all the effects in the world ;) You sound beautiful.

  • @HelloShty 100% with your comment! thank you so much for watching!

  • Guitar SOUND for our pleasure...

  • @LaZanzaraReturn Thanks and thank you so much for watching!

  • @jstuka1234 HI :) This tone is a classic and a must for all guitarists on the world. I think so. Fender tone, in my opinion, is impossible to play without good hands and...love for this instrument. Your amp is one of the most interesting for the clean tone. Great..!! Regards from an Italian Fender Lover :)

  • @LaZanzaraReturn absolutely 110% with your comments! regards from a Fenderholic ;)

  • playing this big amp in your living room.. hardly touching the strings - useless demo

  • @sunshinesigi thank you Mr. Amp In My Living Room's Authority, Don't miss my next 3 x 6 wall stack of Marshall, in my bath room!

  • Great sound! Greetings from italy!

  • @davidleerotharmy grazie mille!! Greetings from Portugal!!!

  • What beautiful sound!

  • @triclone123 thank you so much for the comment!

  • lovely!!!!

  • @ardiandhani thank you!!

  • mint huh?

  • What do you usually keep the volume at? Do you think you can still get a pretty good sound to play at home / small gigs with a full band at low volumes? Thanks!

  • @sawcreatives At home I always set the volume between 1,5 and 2.

For small gigs, with drums and all the instruments, I would set the volume between 3 and 4 and you still have plenty of headroom, Thanks for watching!

  • @massimo3601 I did not use any compressor, just used the Ibanez tube screamer TS9DX to raise the amp volume and gain (amp volume was 1,5) . This «song» is just few chords inspired from some Stevie Ray song, and some other jazzy tunes. If some day I put it all together, I may think about selling :))

Thank you so much for watching!

  • sounds clean

  • @metaloutlander thanks for watching!

  • sounds like some odd variation of misty....hmmm- nice playing btw

  • @keefertorontali yes, there's some misty there ;) thanks for watching!

  • I just bought the Twin Reverb 69 reissued yesterday, I have an Ibanez RG in which I changed the neck pickup to DiMarzio cruiser 186 that, being a humbucker, sounds as clean as a Strat. It sounds beautifully. I already have an Ibanez tubescreamer but I would like an OD/Distortion sound, what pedals do you think would work fine with this amp? Does it really work so bad with more distortion?

  • @danteyoutu I think It works fine with any OD on the market, but it also depends of what type of OD you want. I like the OCD Fulltone or for something heavier, I also use the Jekyll and Hyde distortion, it offer a huge combination of OD's. Thanks man!

  • hi!, how good is this amp with a distortion pedal?, is it pedal-friendly?

  • @danteyoutu amp runs great with distortion pedal, specially with any Tube Screamer pedal. Thanks for watching

  • Nice. That's my idea of Fender bell tone. This sounds like a nice rig to cover the Ventures and other bands in that genre.

  • @StevoCalifornia Twin Reverb will do the job!! thanks so much for watching!

  • Sounds great! what were your volume and tone settings?

  • @tdawg0993 not sure, but nearly this: Bass 7 Middle 6 Treble 5, vol 2/3, thanks so much for watching!

  • can you make it break if you turn up the master volume or whatever??

  • @coldironhands1 yes, I think this one will break at vol 7, but watch out you ears :)) thanks for watching.

  • Excelente. Sempre quis ter um Fender desse. Os limpos sao divinos!! A proposito, excelente execuçao!

  • Awesome tone :-)

  • @5p1cc thank you so much!

! Me gusta esa corriente musical !

  • Who's drilling at the back?

  • sharp hearing lol...nobody's drilling..I it's maybe pickup hum and noise environment. thanks for watching!

  • Thanks so much for watching!!!

  • amp sounds fantastic!

and I love what you're playing.

  • thanks so much Sam, I'm glad you liked it!!

  • Nice style of playing!

  • thank you my friend, and thanks so much for watching!

  • whats the volume on it?

  • I think it was between 2 and 3, thanks for watching

  • so at about 3 or more is when it sounds best?

  • absolutely, from 3 up it gets more juicy :)

  • how much did you pay for the twin reverb ?

i have a fender classic '50 too and i'm looking for a good fender amp...

do you recommend buying this one ?

  • this Twin is from the 90's. A new Twin costs around 1200Eur. This amp is a clean tone heavy workhorse, I would recommend it for sure! If you're only planning to play at home, I would recommend a 65 Princeton Reverb.

    Thanks for watching!

  • i have a "twin amp" its sweet nice sounds dude

  • the twin amp is great, and maybe more flexible then the Twin Reverb for the gain & distortion! thanks for watching!

  • Sounds soooooooooo good !!! : )

  • thanks so much for watching! :)

  • damn she sounds surftastic!!

  • thanks a lot :))!!!

  • Sounds beautiful

  • Thanks so much Paul!

  • is a reissue?

  • yes

  • in my opinion, the reverb is a touch brighter than the originals, but whatever :P

    awesome skills right there :D

  • you're right, the originals have warmer tone!!! thanks so much for watching!!!

  • Great cleans but those amps weigh a ton

  • absolutely!!! thanks for watching!

  • i have the same setup as you, the ts9dx is awesome, i was looking for a way to add distortion/overdrive to this amp even though i only love it pure clean

  • right man! I also love it clean. When I need to add distortion, I add more gain to the TS9. thanks for watching!

  • just bought this amp, love it, love the tone, nice vid :)

  • yes...the twin is a sweet horse power amp, thanks so much for watching!

  • Love the sound of a twin rvrb -- always wanted one, but settled for the lighter deluxe rvrb. The twin is just so damned heavy. Like your original tune!

  • Absolutely man! the twin can break your back!! The Deluxe rvrb is also a great amp, post something if you can! Thanks for watching!

  • Great music wonderful tone.

  • tks so much Mauro, I'm glad you liked it!

  • lenny

  • yep, Lenny was a great inspiraton! thanks for watching!

  • really nice job on this very jazzy

  • whaT amp would you consider for a fender mustang with a humbucker in the bridge a ds1 and a small clone chorus pedal

  • A marshall cab with pa heads, like kurt haha

  • what amp do you recommend for a tele

  • maybe a Fender bassman or Fender Blues Deville....

  • i can hear some lenny in your song :D

  • you got me there ;) thanks for watching!

  • Beautiful sound..Is this just the amp, or you have another effect on your guitar?

  • Thanks so much for watching. No effects, just

    tube screamer for some gain.

  • Nice warm sound, just the way i like it!! And nice chord progressions!

  • thank you so much!

  • how do you compare this amp to the new supersonic 112? I am kind of torn between the two. Any ideas?

  • I've never tried the Supersonic, but based on what I have heard, it's a great tube amp too. with only 1x12 will break out sooner that the Twin Reverb.

    I think it's a good choice too!

  • so am I. I personally havent played one of these in a while. Last time I played it, it was with a double neck. You cant get a better clean. Now the Super Sonic is a great amp. Its got great cleans, nice grit on the bassman side of the vontage channel. You can get almost any type of distortion on the burn side. Its an extremely versatile amp.

  • I got a supersonic at christmas!!! Unreal amp for versitility, only thing i have against it is it weighs a ton and remeber its 60 real fender valve watts so its extremly loud for house use!!!

  • congrats for the new great amp! you're right but the good tube amps are always heavy ...

  • @jayarch1315 snap! It's actually insane right? :)

Have you had the chance to gig with it yet? The bassman channel cranked sounds out of this world!

  • Hey... no i havent had the chance to gig it yet asi am 15 and got this device at christmas and yea it is the most fantastic sounding piece of kit ever!!! And its insanly loud... i mean 60 real fender valve watts of loudness and heavy!!!!! What is it like when gigging??

  • @jayarch1315 I'm 15 too, rubbish excuse! :P

It sounds fantastic when cranked, really cuts through the mix. Want a real treat? Turn the bassman just above twelve o'clock ;)

  • no one ever came up with an amp to rival the fender twin... that vibrato cannot be beaten and your video shows it off well... i have one on load from a friend and just love it! keep posting!

  • absolutely! twin rev is a great amp, the the combination of twin/strat sounds magic.

    thanks so much for watching!

  • Dude! is that a song?

  • its not complete yet, but yes, its a song. thanks for watching!

  • Beautiful chord changes.

  • thanks so much Kevin, I'm glad you liked it!

  • I went back and forth between the bassman and the twin and finally decided on a twin. Can't wait to play it! Sounds so good!

  • good choice my friend! :)

  • Beautiful playing! I'm thinking about getting this amp, thanks for the great demo.

I want this amp for surf style playing but if I'm playing in an alternative rock band would it do alright with a good distortion pedal?

  • Thanks so much for watching! Yes, with a good distortion pedal it will do the job, but would also consider the Fender Bassman, because the sound breaks up more easily than the Twin. Check out a few demos of the Fender Bassman on youtube.

  • how much did you pay for it? i have a joe pass emp 2 how do you think it will sound with this amp?

  • It will surely sound good with a hollow-body guitar like Epi Joe Pass.

I bought this amp brand new, a Fender Twin Reverb '65 Reissue, in the 90's, it costed around 1000USD, but for accurate prices, you'll better check it on the internet.

    Thanks for watching!

  • i just payed a new one in german for 1099 euro it's i think the best price in europe

  • good deal!

  • hi..i just want to know if this amp would be good for fender jaguar? also want toknow the watts? thank you and you have a great tone, thats why im thinking to get this amp...peace

  • Hi there. Fender Twin is a clean sound amp, very basic, with 85 watts. Fender Jaguar will sound very nice on this amp, specially if your style is surf music, blues or jazz style. If your style is rock, I would maybe recommend you to check Marshall or other type of amps. I am very satisfied with this one. Thanks for watching!

  • Mmmmmm... dont they sound sweet?

  • I have a few strats but I think this one in particular sounds great with this amp, thanks for watching!

  • They are indeed magical. I got my Blackface Twin as a birthday gift from my parents in the summer of 1967. Still have it, still love it.

  • they sound sweet bouncing off a wood floor...i hate my fukin carpet

  • ahahaha thanks for watching!

  • Beautiful, it reminds me a lot of either Lenny, which I was just playing (I actually have the pick in my mouth, holding it) or Riviera Paradise, you've got the gift, my friend! 5 stars!

  • I appreciate your comment, I use some chords from both songs and it's been a great challenge making it. Let see what comes up next :))

  • I'd love to see what comes next!

Obrigado pelo comentário e long live the blues!

  • very pretty

  • thanks!!!!

  • Sounds like something Brian Setzer or Stevie Ray would play ;] That's cool.

  • I appreciate you comment. Actually this song has been inspired by SRV jazzy songs.

  • this is beautiful

  • thank you!!!!

  • great sound, love the chord structure, you ought to finish it out. If you need some help i'll voluteer

  • Thanks man, I appreciate it!

  • awesome...from kurt !!!

  • Grande Malha!

  • obrigado Tuga!!!! :)

  • You gotta love a Twin Reverb.Beautiful.

  • Yes Paul and it gets the best clean sound of a stratocaster. Thanks.
