@dfoxx007 Sorry, but the piano is no intimidating than the guitar. In fact I think it should be regarded as more flowing than the guitar for the simple reason you can play multiple notes simultaneously that you couldn't on guitar. The piano has many more possibilities for creative construction. I don't think that open doors = intimidation.

It feels limited... Tool's music comes from having no specific beat, it's all feeling. having to follow a beat doesn't make it worse, I just find harder to sing to hehe
