This is in my top 10 movies. A very unusual film as it's the only Horror film Ealing Studios made. They only made one film in colour ('The Lady Killers') and that was equally brilliant. The film is all in the mind and is cyclic and I suspect the central character has had a car crash in reality and is in a coma. This would also explain the mystery behind the greatest TV series ever made - 'The Prisoner' starring Patrick McGoohan. But that's another story! Be seeing you...
Terrific. Thank you for uploading. I occasionally have "room for one more inside sir" flashbacks of my own. As much as I enjoy Ealing comedies, I wish more films like this had subsequently been made in Britain because the talent is so obviously there, especially in the form of those marvellous character actors and directors.
An absolute favorite!

The sheer sense of terror within this movie is beyond belief.
