It has been 3 days since I got my immediate dentures and I still can't talk right I feel embarrassed to talk because I sound like a deaf person my tongue is always stuck to the top denture when I talk don't know if I will ever be able to talk again I'm freaking out please if you have any tricks other than reading out loud let me know thank you bye
Seriously....thank you. i should have done it at 27...but live with not doing it 13 yrs later. i am now...just went three days ago. You look great! No before photo but you looks great! I only came across your videos tonight, but its like me. All of it. hubby, family...your right about the hubby...he knows it about. My self esteem. Thank you so much for these videos.
I lost 2 front bottom teeth due to gum disease. Got a bone graft, and getting implants. I won't chew tobacco again. I had a hard time eating in front of people because I have a dental flipper. Finally told my girlfriend i'm missing teeth and she told me she wears full dentures. I had no idea! It's gonna cost me around 3k to replace 2 teeth. No matter what condition teeth are in, it's best to save them at ALL COST! If possible
I'm young too and I felt the same way. I came online and researched and also watched some videos. Your videos have been very helpful. I should create some. I'm 26 and Friday will be 4 weeks since I got my dentures. They pulled like 29 teeth and gave me immediate dentures. The pain was not near as bad as others said it would be. I was very scared of dentists and my teeth had gotten terrible. Thank you for your videos.
@asanspree Yes definitely make some:-) I would looooovvvveeeee to see more people posting videos and openly talking about their dentures;-p And you are right- it wasn't bad for me either. Everyone sort of hyped it up and made it seem like it was a horrible ordeal but I honestly felt nothing and only felt minimal discomfort afterward, enough to just use ibuprophen so I mean, definitely overhyped! Congrats!
I think we all go through this phase where we are embarrased by what has happened,it took me a while to accept the fact that my teeth aern`t my own,thank the goddess i got over that one,lol.these vids you do are really helpful to people,maybe i should start making my own on this subject,what do you think?.love to you xxx
@MsLavenderRose1 Absolutely! If more people started talking about it openly and more frequently then less people would feel embarrassed! I can't tell you how many messages I get from people who sincerely thank me for my videos and tell me how much they have helped. If I could inspire 5 people to do this, then those 5 could inspire 5 more, etc- before you know it the subject would be less taboo and people would be more open to talking about it and feel less isolated:-)
@MsLavenderRose1 Just looked at some of your Video's & your teeth don't look fake at all, they look really natural. How long have you had them?
I too am from the UK & am facing a full set of dentures in the near future, which you must admit still has some stigma attached to it in this country.
