The black and flamed altered is a regular oiler. i have seen it oil the whole track at least 5 times

@toneoffuel abit harsh really? in all fairness, these arent your everyday car engines, that are designed to do 100s of thousands of miles... so give 'em a break... it's part of racing... And just a tad of exageration there with the 5 times... Joe seems to have a habit of taking out the timing blocks... but isnt that why we love the altereds in the first place?

@jordyuk i know there not regular engines. its just annoying when they oil the track, and your running after them and have to wail for ages. thats why there known round the pits amongst racers as the fuel oilers.

@plateebba I wish you would get your facts straight before making stupid comments. He is not a shit driver, there was actually a problem with the chassis that caused the car to violently turn left under torque. If you are such a big drag racing know it all, you will also know that John Wright put the same car on it's roof at Shakey, this was also caused by the same problem that unfortunatley was not picked up on at the time.

Hi Joe, sorry I don't have a video of your run. I did have it but there was too much camera shake and so it went into the bin. I will look out for you at the main Event and post something. BTW the 6.62 was a fantastic achievement !!

@TimCooperBrackley Hi Tim. Thats okay, I think someone else has it covered for me, thanks so much for taking the time to film though. We won't be running the main event as the NFAA aren't booked to race there, however Summer Nationals and National Finals we'll be there. Thanks again!

@plateebba I don't think Gary is a shit driver, he just tried to win. The left lane appeared to have less grip on the launch. I am sure the clutch and tuner guys would have factored this as best they can. Remember Gary Page has been around years and has a ton of experience (remember the Panic car, Cannonball Run and racing Harlan Half Pass Thompson)

This was a sad crash for Gary. Glad he's okay though.

Don't suppose you got a video of the run previous to this? I was racing the black and flamed altered and ran 6.62 and after some video footage of it. If you did and are willing to put it up that would be great.
