FINALLY! A properly directed and edited AoL video. Who knew Alex could look so cute? God they were good when they were on.

Personally, I think Alex could be much more than "cute", he just didn't mean to. As far as the presentation of the band was concerned, sexiness was mostly a privilege of Jean Pierre and the girls. Alex generally preferred to be comical.

Watch the video clip of "Crucified" (it's somewhere on youtube, a search will bring it up). Alex shows a glimpse of his potential in the aspect of attractiveness. He just never chose to expand on it, leaving the "sexy" to the other members ;)

Maybe, although Jean-Pierre is just as comedic, and his sexiness is just camp to me. Alex's look in Crucified-the fop with the pageboy haircut-is the one that he's identified with through most of AoL's existence. It just isn't very sexy to me. His working-class mesh tshirt leather mohawk queeny-butch attitude in this video is just so very hot. Just a question of taste. He's the real musician behind the whole project, so you're right, he doesn't have to be the sexy one.
