@10Altiar01 no, first off just because they were ssj1 doesn't mean they had the same power. Second the elder kai described it as the "perfect" fusion as opposed to the fusion dance which would actually multiply their power, so with the ear rings they're stronger than an ssj2.

@10Altiar01 Super vegito is the strongest form of vegito- he doesn't go any higher, therefore, they nuked his power. I mean SSJ Gogeta would be weaker then SSJ Vegito. If Gogeta would be strong enough, as would Vegito. Just because your in SSJ doesn't mean you have a limit to power- remember, these guys actually have no real limit to power. Although, SSJ4 Gogeta tops all imo.

Potara Fusion doesn't have a time limit!  It only wore off inside of Majin Buu so that he wouldn't be completely absorbed as his body recognizes Vegito being absorbed, not Goku and Vegeta
