even if the sound doenst change enough to say it is way different, the band may change its LABEL and get more promotion and more visibility.

depending on what are your goals and what your label wants from you ...

its a big game.. its hard to understand.. it never quite is the Same.. every band is different for so many reasons.

i know that real atreyu fans aren't too keen on lead sails paper anchor. it was a good album, but it wasn't their usual style. after listening to congregation of the damned, i realized that the band had to make lead sails paper anchor in order to make this record, and i'm so glad they did! it really makes me appreciate them that much more.

I'm sorry Atreyu... You used to be my favourite band. But ever since Lead Sail Paper Anchor, it's pretty much been downhill. I want the old Atreyu back :(
