swap out your dunlop strap locks for some schallers...they fit in the same exact hole, and they look soooo much more like slash's...and a Red Monkey guitar strap wouldn't hurt either....its what slash uses.

Studio takes ARE cut and pasted in the last 10-15 years. Most of the old guns stuff was cut on tape rather than digital with pro tools and what not. They would splice some of the tape to get good cuts, but a lot of the good bands - gnr included - did a lot of their studio recording "live". There is a major art to studio recording, but the old stuff is real. Even some mistakes left in on quite a few famous recordings.

So? Maybe you don't, but you definitely need a Gibson (maybe Epiphone) guitar to get, well, a Gibson sound. What are you gonna use? Fender? Ibanez? Jackson? The closest sound you can get to a Les Paul without a Les Paul is either a Slash Sig. Les Paul, or some kind of SG, or something along that line.

Well, unless you have top notch recording equipment, with 100's of presents, you kind of do. Your equipment, and vibrato is really what get's you natural and ideal sounds. You honestly can get a Slash tone with a Strat. Everyone knows that, im sure, but if you had very very pricey and good quality instrument equipment, im sure you could fit something in somewhere.

I used tabs over 10 or 15 years ago, but now I don't use tabs. Using tabs is not so bad thing but to be played by tabs is very very bad thing. You should understand what is going on with the song. This solo is made by A major pentatonic scales with some passing notes, and G minor, C minor, and D minor pentatonic scales along with the backing chords. If you can understand the relations of key and scales, you don't need tabs.
