Like Garrison Keillor said, all the kids are above average in Minnesota. IMO Minn is very far left; probably one of the 5 most liberal states in the country. They've also got an eccentric bent; they elected Jesse Ventura and now Al Franken is the Dem nominee for Senate. These high tax big union states will continue to lose population to the south and west. As their tax base erodes they'll be unable to sustain their level of social spending. I guess at that point they look for federal subsidies.
