coming out with a metallica music game was the best thing that guitar hero could of done. rock band is just a pile of shit now. and rock bands response to this amazing game is rock band beattles?! wat the hell is that shit.

the beatles music far surpasses metallica's. not to say metallica's music isn't good i mean hell, i own their first 4 albums. but you can't honestly say rock band has gone to shit because the beatles rock band, has done a better job of representing a single band than any guitar hero based game. that's why neversoft decided to give away gh van halen for free, because i'm pretty sure they're aware of how they fucked up with that game.

i think it was clear from the first rock band, that harmonix did not give a shit about the kids.  they stuck to their guns and continued to release more appealing songs to a wider range of people than just your metal heads and mohawked punks. the beatles rock band was always something that people wondered if it would ever happen and since it did, it's satisfying. and who's to say that kids won't like the beatles music? my little cousins who are like 10 and 12 asked me if i was going to buy it

Well I got RB1 complete set otherwise I would love to play on GHWT set. Although I played a few songs at Walmart and it wasn't a big difference IMO.

I read on a message board that the cymbal add-ons for the Rock Band kit cause a "disconnect" error when player GH: Metallica.

Is this true? Can I only use the Rock Band kit without the cymbals?

rock band is better set up, i've played RB2 and Gh metallica and perfer RB metallica.

The only problem with having an "expert plus" mode is that it makes the regular expert mode seem easier than it should be. I shouldn't be able to play this on expert, but from looking at this chart I think I could come close to 100% on it.

Still looking forward to this, though.

While it indeed is not technically hard, the chart has a faster pace then it seems in video. Not saying this to detract from you but just saying it's pretty unrelenting on the forearms.
