Stayed up all night when we had rooms at the hotel, along w/ like 40 + people, we were too hyped to even sleep. This was by far, the best tournament/event that I've experienced my whole life. Same thing will happen again this year for Genesis 2, can't wait (:

I love how this is called the Genesis Compilation, and the whole thing is all melee. Its as if Brawl didnt even take place, lol. Thats how you know a game is crazy when you see people goin nuts over a game thats 8 years old, while the newer game gets almost no attention. Even people that came to genesis for brawl were gettin hyped...too good

Genesis was basically Melee. Brawl had like 15 people watching winner's finals and stuff.

There was hardly any hype for Brawl because the final was Ally vs M2K (SURPRISE!), and M2K gave up. Talk about a terribly boring and anti-climactic ending. APEX finals were a lot better, because M2K was at least trying.

Melee on the other hand, had the coolest finals of all time, Mango vs Armada. :)
