dont know all the details but if your pain gets too much sometimes they cut the nerves that are "flaring" up but I'm sure the docs will do the shots first, keep your head up

I work in the medical field I understand why they can't tell you over the phone like that there are all sorts of laws we have to stick to. She could have worded what she told you in a better way. The goal is not to stress the patient out but still move the app up sooner, there were better ways of her doing that. Good luck man!

Hope you get better soon! I had a plate in my upper right arm. Every time I turned my steering wheel to the left, I felt the plate want to lift off the bone, so I had it taken out. That was a pain that was unbearable, so if you are having a hardware issue in your BACK, then I can only imagine what you're going through! Get well man!

When I asked what was wrong, I got the cold shoulder until the Doc was ready to give me the news. Not sure why they do it that way, but there must be a good reason....right?

I hate it when doctors don't tell you information like that! I had a biopsy on a mole once, they call back saying this "The Results are in, its not very good. We need to do more surgery soon." And that was it. I was like WTF! Tell me more, I can't go 2 days only knowing that. Luckily it wasn't cancerous!
