I think it is important that many Armenians, including vocal groups like System of Down understand that during WWI crimes against humanity occurred on both sides. Turks starved without the food production of the Armenian Farms. My grandfather in Afyon was beaten by Greek soldiers and Izmir was burned to the ground, but that was in the past, Greeks and Turks reconciled and moved forward and I hope that Armenia will do the same with Turkey. I can never understand why many in the Armenian community are not told the facts of 1915. Not all Armenians were forced to exile by the Ottomans, only in areas of revolt led by a savage group of foreign Dashnaks that did not speak for the Armenian population in Asia Min. If one reviews outsider accounts of what happened they would understand that in Van, Kars and other cities, Turks were massacred, women and children were burned to death in mosques.
