@ first this boss was pretty hard- I kept getting wiped out so I went out and leveled up a bit. I beat it at level 17 15 & 13. Rest In Peace bitch! Lol

i'm never prepared for a boss. I always have almost no mana,no potions or healing equipment, and the bosses always wipe me out before i can heal or atack with magic! i really need help...

i always overlevel in FF games. i was like lvl 20 at this boss and i can never beat bosses unless im overleveled. thats why i never finish a final fantasy game.....you cant be overleveled for the final boss....

I don't mean any offense to any one here but i found this very easy,and at the end cecil was lvl 18 and rydia and tellah were 17 i just used cecil normal attks(no darkness) and had the shadow blade so i was doing so much dmg, then i would use the 2 mages to spam thunder, then heal or revive with rydia when needed

I hate this thing. His goddamn dungeon wipes me out, and once I'm there, Tellah is the only survivor, and bam. He dies before he can attack. O__e

I had difficulty with him. Cecil was about level 19, Rydia was level 16 and Tellah was level 18. Tellah was the only survivor..

I played the gba version and this fight was kind of difficult but of cours cecil ewas at lvl 9, the summoner was around 9, And the mage was at whatever level he starts at... I beat him but it took me a bit.

In the ps1 version I have no difficulty with this enemy if you level up enough. Here cecil was at level 14, Rydia was approaching a couple of levels behind. I simply had Rydia use her summon chocobo every chance she got with her 60 maybe 70 mp plus having the sage use either fire or help heal. Cecil used his most basic attacks which had hurt the monster up to 100 hp a pop and down goes the monster. No bragging. For those who are having difficulty try leveling up to 14 maybe 15th level.

if you use tellah to heal cecil then you wont need potions. ( use cura)

i think its better to use rydia for cura+ in all the team because shes weak and tella may hit a lot more with thunder.

for that boss fight my cecil was level 20 rydia level 18. easy too win is do darkness with cecil at start , rydia use her light and heal when needed with tellah use Recall. If ur lucky enough recall will do light 2 and fire 2 that hurt that monster for 900 and +

if you rely on Cecil now your in for a world of hurt when he becomes paladin becuase his does get tons of health but his attack goes from over 200 to 6 at first and you have to re level him from level one then his strength is half of dark cecil
