This band can go out there and play any song from the Bon Scott days and the crowds go nuts. You cant say that about the bulk of the post-Scott days. Johnson is brilliant and so is the band but their best songwriting was a long time ago.

Brian's got a more hard rock voice, that's what splits ppl, Bon's a bit less hard rock, really, and btw bon only had HWTH as a recognised album across the world, all of Brian's albums did well, and FOTS and FOTW are underratted and class, imo brian built AC/DC with BIB, some may think it was bon with HWTH, but that's just what i think, Brian > Bon, and Brian was much better live, but then again, when Bon was doing live, it was mainly for theartes so you can't say really.

The reason every Brian-era album has sold well is fucking because of the groundwork done by the Bon-era AC/DC. I love Brian too and love the albums of his era, but you cant just compare the chart placing of Razors Edge to Let There Be Rock and conclude that Brian is the better - if Razors Edge had been released in 1977, it wouldnt have sold so well, cos ACDC wasnt a household name back then

I kind of agree with you, Brian is a great singer, but Bon's voice was so much better in my opinion and he really kills songs live, most of his studio tracks are ok though. I really dislike when Brian redoes Scott's songs also, it just isn't the same. Wish I was 16 in the late 70's.

Back in Black and FTATR were Johnson's good albums in my opinion, the rest of the albums from him were not so good, and his voice changed alot since back then which sucks, but Brian can never compare to Bon. Bon, Angus, and Malcolm were AC/DC bottomline. We all know Malcolm is the main reason AC/DC came to be, and I don't know why he doesn't get as much credit as Angus. Love Angus to death, but Malcolm needs the credit where credit is due. Damn shame about the stupid way Bon had to pass. AC/DC
