  • Nobody pick a guitar like this man do... Lucky enough to be standing about six feet away for this one in Santa Cruz.

  • I love to hear Stills when he is this raw. None better.

  • Can anyone help me with the chords to this. The tuning and voicings would be awesome. Or even a transposing to standard would be cool... Thanks in advance!!!

  • Totally awesome, but Pete Seeger's version on "American Industrial Ballads" will always be the definitive version to me.

  • This is the exact same thing as Captain Kennedy.

    great minds think alike.

  • GregMcG1983: You're right. That's what I thought, when I heard this tonight for the first time!

  • I love his later stuff He is so handsome still I like him a bit heavier than my best friend does but there is all the praise in the world that can do him justice and Ill heap all I have for him Yes Saint Stephen suits him fine the Prince of Country Rock and the the P0ntiff of Acoustic guitar there is none like him Thank you God for keeping him with us We love you Stephen especially ME!

  • Thanks jenyman. Thanks, Stephen - I suspect some day, he'll get the full recognition he deserves, as a guitarist and an artist

  • makes me want to listen to Captain Kennedy. :) who ripped off who?? hehe.

  • actually very close to Know You Got to Run from Stephen Stills 2 circa 1972.

  • Just saw him last night at HOB in San Diego - sounded terrific and played SO amazing. Thanks for this clip.

  • Saint Stephen Stills Rocks Still!

  • Other than this and his first song named Blue Bird, I've never seen him perform alone. He used to do "Singles" back in a coffehouse called Four Winds, not only those tunes he recorded as a single.

When Blue Bird was cut, only Charlie Chan (a great fiddle player, and dear pal) was in the studio.

  • Charlie played banjo on Bluebird.

  • Thanks for posting this.. does anybody know the tuning thats used for the guitar in this song?

  • What is the New York Society for Ethical Culture?

  • look at nysec dot org

Ethical Culture is a Humanist and Ethical movement inspired by the ideal that the supreme aim of our lives is to create a more humane society.

  • Awesome! Thanks! Sam Harris Rules!

  • Thank you for posting!! I saw him in Atlanta on 4/28/07 and he was amazing. I will NEVER miss him when he is in town. I just spent $300 on two shrink wrapped copies of "Stills Alone". I have owned it twice but I lost them, actually wore one CD out (That's not supposed to be possible). Got it on itunes now!

    What a performer!

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH! I was there too and hoping someone took some video :))) Im very happy.

  • Thanks very much for this fantastic clip!
