Boy Metallica definitely has changed since the 80's, but they Kicked ASS! at the Honda Center in Anaheim for their Death Magnetic Tour! I had the seats right in front of the moshpits lol. They played Masters, Battery, One, Sad but True and other heavy shit! It was an amazing concert, Machine Head opened for Metallica and it was loud!...i was hald deaf. They had pyrotechnics, flames were like 30 feet high! Man my neck was sore after headbanging so much. It ended at 12, and it started raining lol

I think nowadays james doesnt sing with with more..... vibrato? I think it is. Studing his voice from year after year after year he gotten older, I can see he sings in more of a clean tone, rather that a vibrating kinda of voice, hence the "growling" sound james copyrighted back in the eighties.
