Nice video it was awesome i make bottle bomb videos too so can you check out mine? My latest viideos in my opinion are the best so check them out first!
I know exactly what that is but it's not necessarily bad but yeah, it's not going to taste good. What you have is a lactobacillus bacteria that got in it...it could have come in from the air but more than likely it got in your ferment bucket or bottling.
I had the same problem, mine came somewhat activer out the bottle. It was due to the fact that the first fermentation was not ended yet. And i bottled it to early.
I brewed a triple with a normally fruity taste but this time it tasted more like bananas. To bad it was 60 liters :p
I have had that same problem once too. It was last winter on a Spiced Stout.. No idea what went wrong either, I reviewed everything I did and haven't found anything out of the ordinary.. The only thing I can think of is maybe I got an infected yeast..
Haha. I think that, even with excellent sanitation techniques, somethings things just happen. Some bacteria or wild yeast must have gotten hold before the brewing yeast did. That's just nature for you. Brewing beer is a lot of fun because it's like a home chemistry set. I feel better putting most of my beer in plastic Coopers bottles so they don't explode. So far, so good, but things can just go wrong sometimes.
where any of the chilled? is this from just sitting in room temps or near room temps?
i think I have a batch that has gone bad too from bottling. I tried one a few hours ago and it didn't taste good at all. they have been in bottle for 3.5 weeks now.
Hang on to a couple and crack 'em open after they've been in the bottle for a year. They might be OK.
I had a porter I thought was infected and I dumped it all except for one bottle I forgot about. I found it a year later and it was frickin' delicious. I regret dumping it all!

i dont think its an infection. more likely to have been bottled too early, saving a couple for a few more months would have been a good idea...
