@pegan1371 Yes! And the math--a subject in which every Rush fan excels--supports it. The Police's "Rush" phase started in 1977 (when the band was launched)--four years *before* Moving Pictures was released. But, I get your point: Rush is god.

Could they be any tighter.....This song ..AHH HELL ..All their songs are just a display of how tight a band could be when you have all the members in a band that carry their own weight!!!
@srphockey11 only other band that i have heard that was clsoe to being tight as Rush was the Moody Blues in their prime around 1972, although you really can't compare the two bands' music. But, the Moodys were an extremely tight band in concert, especially before Michael Pinder left after Octave

Well, this song was RELEASED in 81. It was written way before that and recorded a year before. The Police were only just starting to break and would not be a worldwide hit band for another year. I agree that this is NOT the greatest Rush song but you got your criticism way wrong. Now, go watch the video of them playing Xanadu back in the 70's and say your sorry.
i think they were just showing how dedicated they were to the art... creatively i can see what you were saying.. they probably need to grab each song/album with the same confidence to keep the fans/producer and perpetuated writing of deep cuts... wow, i hurt my brain ;) peace
I really don't care what the song is about, I've come to the conclusion that what goes on in Neil's head us mortals can't fathom. Either way this is one of the greatest songs ever!
