lots of water and rest you're voice. it happened when i would start as well. especially when i would stop for a while and then pick it up again. water, clear sodas worked good for me. um. and sometimes fight through the pain for a few minutes, but not enough to tear your larynx. that's expensive surgery. cause when you fight through it for a little while your body kinda builds what i call a scar tissue on it so it gets rougher. so you can scream longer and harder without the pain.. as much
