@jimdiff15 why does every one think the RFS are just bush firefighters, no seriously why, we changed our name from bush fire service to rural fire service for a reason. The RFS Have qualifications e.g bush fire fighter, structure firefighter, CABA operator, SFA and Advance resuscitation. etc. yes I agree the idea of the RFS was to get volunteers to help extinguish bush fires, but allot has changed since then. the RFS are now responsible for house fires, MVAs, ambo assists, industrial fires. Etc

i dont understand why the bushies think they are better trained to deal with this. at the end of the day its the rfs heads and others within the organisation that have a usless point to prove or a chip on their shoulder. sometimes im ashamed to tell people in a member of my local bushfire brigade.
