@TOMIHU101 depends on what you want to shoot mate? the 55-250mm has a powerful zoom and stabilizer, very good for moving objects, sports, and distant objects, the 18-55mm is very decent lens as well, having both of them is what you should do, they are not expensive
you put the lens in manual focus mode (MF knob on the lens itself) and move the ring at the end of the lens to focus on different parts of the composition :)
How did you adjust or change the depth of field while recording? It was very cool!

How can you change where your focusing? For example when it focuses from the back two candles to the front two

It depends what you're going to shoot. 18-55 has wider variety for use instead of 55-250 but as I said it depends of what you're going to shoot.
