Ron Paul is wrong about certain actions 'inciting hatred' against America in particular and the west in general. Islamists have their own internalised logic and narrative. If we did not bomb them they would simply lie to establish a cassus belli or fall back on the militant abrogating provisions within the koran. Dr Paul stinks on foreign policy. First of all, he should know the numbers better than anyone, our expenditures over seas are just a drop in the bucket, he should be looking at entitlement programs here in the states. Second, the terrorists don't hate us because we brought war to them, they hated us anyway. Third, I could give two shits if tyrants around the world like us or not. Stick to economics Dr. Paul. We've been funding our war machine by borrowing from the Chinese, Japanese, and Saudis....Does this sound like a good idea?

The chinese, japanese, and saudi's have been funding everything in the U.S, not just the war machine. Military expenditures are about 15-20% of our budget. Thats hardly something that can be argued. I'm don't support all this spending over seas either, but to say that that is where our money is going is simply false. If i'm wrong i would like to know about it so please provide me with some facts if you have them. Ron Paul is my favorite politition but he simply isn't right on everything.

Our founding fathers warned against standing armies not to mention the military industrial complex. Did you know George Bush Senior was a senior advisor for the Carlyle group, an arms manufacturer?
