  • Wow you made that look so easy, good for you. Ii'll have to give that a try when i feel better.thanks for the video.

  • You are strong man , I'm paraplegic as well fo 5 years . I got car accident when I was 15and In December 2011 I'm turning 20 . I still don't know how to do that

  • @105bobbo It's a lot more difficult to do it that way. I'm a C 6/7 incomplete for just about 20 years now...functioning as a para. The most difficult part of that is getting your rear end back up into the chair as he did.

  • Svaka cast !!!

    Nemas ni malo Spazma

    pozdrav iz Srbije !!!

  • Hi, can i ask you a couple of questions if possible? i am doing my thesis right know. i'll explain all the details when i contact you. may email is car_yuyek@yahoo.com. Please contact me. thanks and very helpful video.

  • hey there mister..I'm a para myself and I rarely put myself on the floor cuz it is soo hard to get myself back up. I'm a female and I think males have the advantage for strength. You make it look soo easy..will give it a try. tho.thanks for sharing. awfully brave of you and it is appreciated..thanks.

  • just curious, can you stand up right if you are on your knees? just an afterthought

  • i think you are really handsome, you are really optimistic too, which is cool, good luck!!!

  • WoW thanks man. Im a new Para and have been trying to figure out all this stuff. Hard..Put I will start practicing this.

  • It;s entertaining & educational but how about for those no legs at all? Specially for those above the knee (12cm.)

  • hey :) i wonder where you got your technique in transferring yourself from the floor to the wheelchair.. did you just discover it by yourself?

  • Hi, This video has been a big help, thanks for taking the time to walk through it step by step. I have a few questions, I'm recently a C6-7 complete quad. If you don't mind sharing, what is the level of your injury? I've tried getting into the chair a few ways and tis seems to be the best basic technique for me but I'm having trouble keeping my outer leg from flopping out and dragging me away from the chair. Is there anything that you're doing to prevent that? Thanks!

  • it is a great;-)

  • your video is great! very informative... i am not a paraplegic... but its great to know about it =) by the way, your rabbit is cute! kind of looks like mine.. except mine is light brown instead of dark brown and a bit smaller! =)

  • Yeah, my rabbit is a cutie for sure. And she likes to eat!

  • Hehe ^_^ my rabbits loved to eat too.. never seem to stop! and they were sooo fat when i had to give them away (sad.. i miss them) =(

  • You make a good point about lowering yourself down to the floor gently. A lot of people don't remember to do that after awhile if they have no feeling. I'm guilty of it myself sometimes. I'm a C6 complete.

  • Yes, while some pressure ulcers happen overtime, many are triggered from a single traumatic event such as slamming your butt on a hard surface which injures the flesh and paves the way for an ulcer to be formed...

I' m contente o vídeo ajudou. Obrigado tanto.

  • Excellent demo. Your strength is obviously good, but flexibility and excellent technique help too.

  • Thanks. I put wood floors in the appartment and don't get to practice as frequently as I used to. You are right, it depends on strength as well as other factors. Spasms definitely don't help.

  • i want to try it but i dont have good balancing, someday i will try

  • You made it look easy dude..I like to curse a little when I do it..hah.

  • Yeah it usually helps.

  • You're a model of stregth. I can see you are a great person. Congratulations!!! (I'm sorry for my english)

  • Thank you.

  • im heavier so its still difficult but ive been workn out so hopefully it'll get easier soon.....keep doin the videos !

  • I will.

  • friggin sweet u make it look so simple

  • Lots of practice helps but I have to admit, it is still a fairly physical maneuver and hitting the gym first is helpful....
