i think this game is not shocking than others , on the tv they talk about the "sex scenes" yes for me it's not what i really call a sex scenes cause we can can see a black screen during so it's censured but in gta4 (i love this game) when you pick up a hooker does the screen come black? so i don't know why they are talking about that in mass effect other games have more violences and sexual content this is why they put 16+ or 18+ (or 15 in other countries) the parents are the only responsable.

@musicluvr1974 The Fox correspondent later on turned around, and reversed her statement. She had, as you mentioned, only seen -that- part of the game, and drew her conclusions based on that. Having seen the rest of the game later on, she was positively surprised with the value and depth of emotion, that players had to invest in the game-romances. I'm pretty sure she even said that she suspected kids to watch worse things on television these days. :o

this might be off topic, but i just remembered in ME 1 Matriarch Benezia's role was really small for how much reference she got in the game.. she got maybe 4 lines of actual speaking, two cinematic appearences, and the title of "saran's lacky"... i know they were proving a point with how powerful reaper tech is in regards to indoctrination.. but i think they made to big of a deal of her for such a small role.. unless they plan something with Liara T'Soni in ME 3

Fox News was pretty much the only media network that made a big deal about it and I doubt that will be enough to stop Bioware from making the game as they feel fit. The rating system exists for a reason, and if younger people happen to get the game, the developers are not responsible. Chances are it is due to parents not checking what they are buying and allowing their children to play.
