Just watched this movie again. I think, thath Jackie Chan is the greatest actor ever, i love all his movies, and he is a very good man in life, too. Not selfish, not conceited, but funny and with good heart.
Maybe sounds stupid but, the day, the world will loose Jackie, I will cry and get very very drunk. He has given many many hours of great time with his movies for me.
But I clearly have to say the American kid dragged this movie down.
I love both Chan and Li. They're immortal legends of cinema and this movie does them justice, but the western influences in this movie refuse it a much higher rating.
I mean come on... the movie was 90% made by Chinese, they might as well put a Chinese kid in it and speak their language and release it with subtitles.
Other than that... fantastic movie. One of my all time favourites.

the main character's biggest flaw was the fact that he can't ackkkt. especially in contrast to the big shots like Jackie Chan and Jet Li who have been acting all their lives.

haha, do you really mean that ? XD do you know al the fights between jet li and jackie were real, the were even so real that when they fought they had to slow down because the camera couldnt film their moves because they fought to quick. please ban yourself from youtube =P

this film i sawsome saw it last nite on dvd...love jackie chan and jet li's fight...must go ojn fro bout 10-20 mins...plain awsome...ive never seen jackie chan do kung fu before..lol...im a fan of jet li...luv his fearless movie...but this has to be his best movie so far...my opionon...gd film

I think so too. I'm a fan of both of them and I think this is Jet Li's best movie and I think Jackie Chan's best movie is Rush Hour.

This movie was kinda cool, I guess, but it would've been awesome if it were a Jackie Chan movie: no magic, no strings, and no people who don't belong in a Jackie Chan movie.

The movie felt like vaguely typical Hollywood bullshit to me, and the main character was so irritating!!!

yes i couldn't agree more.
the main character's biggest flaw was the fact that he can't ackkkt. especially in contrast to the big shots like Jackie Chan and Jet Li who have been acting all their lives.
I understand what kind of body build they were going for and Topher Grace could have done a better job. Much better.

so irritating i've always wanted to see jackie and jet lee in a movie together , but what happens when you let americans direct it it SUCKS SUCKS SUCKS , let chineese directors who can make a great movie do it , but still jacke and jet lee are still as great as they are !!!!

Just my oppinion....but chinese directors although good...tend to be very very very slow....take some recent chinese movies..the stories are good...but the slowness of the movies make them very irratating.Just My oppinion however^^
(I'm looking forward to see one of the "Romance of Three Kingdoms" movies :))

I thought this movie was pretty lame. It takes years to master martial arts... and why does Hollywood have to put random white people into Asian movies? Like Tom Cruise being "The Last Samurai" of Japan. WTF?
