Maybe it's the angle but this guy looks like 9 years old lol. A little under tempo, but honestly that tempo is harder for me to have a steady double tongue than full carnival tempo so props to him for maintaining it through all variations.

Pretty relaxed playing, when this kid is 16 he's gonna be a haus lol

You are a trumpet god!! Great performance! I would really have to work at it like I'm sure you did to get it to your level. You also played it from memory and on trumpet instead of cornet which makes it easier in my opinion. How old are you??

Not saying this wasn't great, But it seemed as you went into the higher octaves you pressed a lot, Try just using more air, it sound a lot better.

@dirtypaves its better to take it slower and play a great performance. there is more to playing than playing fast, which I dont doubt you already know.

have you tried circular breathing? i'm learning right now and it helps in performances, i could hear you take a breath all the way back here.

where is this at? To me this looks like the NTC (National Trumpet Competition). I agree; it is too slow. Since you played this before, why not taking it on a faster tempo? However, kudos to you on the end with the 16th and 32nd note rhythms (most people have trouble with that). Nice job indeed!
