@jbeast181 I don't usually speedrun games - I like to take my time and enjoy 'em. Pikmin just lends itself to speedrunning though, because of the time and organisational aspects and how short it is. But I have too many other interests to work that hard on getting fast times on lots of games.

From what I'm reading here that's a damn impressive run. Then again I may have just remembered it wrong, and didn't finish it that fast. It was either 15 or 25, but I'm inclined to think 15.

If you even managed to SOMEHOW get every part in every area in 2 days or less, you'd need 7 days anyway because of the last (bonus) level : )

i think the first day should be shown because it's a speedrun, and if I recall correctly, you can't get pikmin to bloom on the first day unless you wait it out, which would waste a lot of time and call for some strategy changes.

letting the pikmin bloom is pretty much the only thing that could have any nuance in speed runs, so pretty much anyone's first day of this game is the same

you know, looking back at pikmin, i realize now how hard and stressful it is to do things on a certain schedule and follow it to the dot. theres so much to do at once and no particularly good order to do it in, it basicly means that your actions every day will affect the next...and the next and next. if you make one small mess up, it could spell death for olimar, or his army.

to post a video on you tube you have to save the video to your documents then go to the video post then type in the stuff then go to bwrose then look for the pikmin video name and then click post but you have to wait for the video to get posted it takes some time because its transporting the video to youtube

I just got the game today, I'm on my 20th part and my 15th day. I love the game so far however my only big complaint is how bomb rocks are implemented. I lost 50 pikmin once because I accidentally whistle while a yellow one was holding a bomb.

A minor complaint is how I can barely multi-task. It's only minor because I understand it's a key element of challenge.

I love the first pikmin more, cuz it has more originality, but its timed, so you cant really take the time to really just go out and explore the planet. I hope that in pikmin 3 (if there is one) they can make a much more expandable playing field, and maybe re introduce places from the first game?

Pikmin 1 is the first one to complete most of us and it has an eerie kind of mood I like (more likely in the dark), but it's time limited.

Pikmin 2 is unlimited and more tresures and challenges...but I can't think of any cons.

What's fun about it? What isn't! I have this game, and personally it's the most fun I've ever had on a game. This puts mario galaxy to shame! It's an entire ecosystem of fun and you get to control the most powerful species on it. I highly recommend getting this game
