The band and John Frusciante is playing great, but if you compare this version to the earlier ones like the one at Pinkpop or the one at the Arsenio Hall Show, Frusciante looks extremely bored here.

Different ' does not mean 'Bad '. john frusciante is an enigma, sort of a musical savant and creative genius. one of the greatest ever. They have had Josh touring with them for several years now in anticipation of the day John moves on, but i know that my heart will no longer skip a few beats as it did when Sir John walked on to the stage, smiled, grabbed his Strat, and went full fucking throttle ! hell yes !!
