I heard that Jason David Frank and Catherine Sutherland wanted to leave by the time Turbo came around. So i think it would have been awesome if Jason became the Red turbo ranger and then he called back Zack and Trini

Zack - Blue or Green

Adam - Blue or Green

Nice to see in a show about teamwork and everyone being equals, everyone saying being a Blue ranger would have been a downgrade for Jason... I didn't realize that with the exception of SPD, there was a ranking system for the ranger colors....

Steve Cardinias wanted to leave the show because he had issues with the producers. Meanwhile, the network wanted to add a kid to the cast in order to attract a younger audience because most of the original MMPR fans had grown up and stopped watching by this point.

I think it was good that Jason never did become the blue turbo ranger. I mean talk about a downgrade. Jason is better suited as a Red ranger and leader or a special 6th ranger.

turbo kinda sucked...alot...it wasnt very good..it took all the original characters (or what was left of them and took them all off) then had a new team which wasnt so bad but adding justin was dumb...wen he morphed he grew...wtf?!?! zordon and alpha were gone..and wen the original team was there it seemed like it was rushed and wasnt rele well thought of..and there wasnt rele a 6th ranger

Actually it could have worked because in "Shift into Turbo", Justin offered to give Rocky the Blue Ranger Powers, but he declined. Jason was still in Angel Grove, so he could have offered them to him as well because being acquainted with him from the movie, he would have already learned that Jason was a former ranger, and had to give up his Gold Ranger powers only because it was draining his lifeforce. Jason would certainly not be reluctant to become a power ranger for the third time.

Trivia: Steve Cardenas actually did injure his back near the end of Zeo. I guess the producers saw it as a good excuse to get Rocky out of the picture...

the way it should have been. think about it. In ZEO Jason returned to be Gold Ranger. Only logical that he go on to be a TURBO ranger afterwards. Not Justin. It should have been Jason. Makes more sense that way.
