I'm not really a fan of music but I forgot all about doing homework and searched the internet for hours for this amazing song which has been clouding my thoughts for a while now <3
Mozart wrote his first symphony at the age of 8. And some kids feel special because they listen to classical music, well good for them but that's not an achievement. It's not hard to listen to already written great music, takes some taste and basic intelligence but that's all. Just because the majority of people consists of mentally disabled lowlife idiots doesn't make you any smarter.
Ottoman...Mehter team, percussion and wind instruments in the European military bands to have been affected and benefited from numerous composers including Mozart, military band music.
@ExStalker101 I'm 14 but I like this music even though I'm not taking piano lessons. And besides don't go to this video if your just gonna insult this fine music.
It is uncertain where and when Mozart composed the sonata; however, Vienna or Salzburg in around 1783 is currently thought to be most likely (Paris and dates as far back as 1778 have also been suggested).
The last movement, Alla Turca, popularly known as the Turkish Rondo, is often heard on its own and is one of Mozart's best-known piano pieces. It imitates the sound of Turkish Janissary bands, the music of which was much in vogue at that time. Various other works of the imitate this music.
When i'm listening to this wonderful masterpiece i imagine butterflies, alpine fields and the blue, blue skies... but not the freaking turks lmaorofl.
If only Mozart knew about hordes of turks living in Germany and rest of Europe now.
@xoxowicked If Mozart knew that in future there would be so many racists, nationalists and fascists then he would have cursed Europe. At least that's what I hope he would.
@TheBlindPowerslave If Mozart knew what turks were about to do with millions of indigenous christians, he would have definitely cursed Turkey not mentioning them at all. Think about this.
okay okay you're right this music is good. but honestly i'd rather listen to bands like wilco or arcade fire. i dunno maybe rilo kiley too. there are other alternatives to mainstream music rather than just classical, though classical is good
Why does everyone say that they're young and they'd rather listen to this than radio shit, who gives a shit about your age. Classical music isn't meant for old people to listen to. Anyone can listen to it. Just listen to it and enjoy it. Damn.
Many years ago, I was in Atlantic City, playing 21 right near a slot machine pit. Every few minutes, the opening bars of the Turkische Rondo would play in a tinny electronic way, and then the sound of all the coins pouring out would be heard; apparently it was the signal that a large-enough jackpot had been one that it required a casino employee's attention. I thought it was clever to have a bouncy little ditty-sounding alarm rather than something more shall we say ominous.
i studied about mozart for school and its amazing that all this music floats around his head and he can write it down with no mistakes... its just truly amazing
And that's where you are wrong. People like specific music genres and then search for artists who fit into that genre. I'll take myself as an example. I listen to all sorts of music: from rock, pop, classical to jazz, r&b and country. I listen to all of these music styles randomly whenever I feel like listening to them. I do NOT listen to just one artist, I listen to songs that fit my taste no matter who made the song. The problem lies in the definition of "good music", because there isn't one.
People are entitled to their own choice of music. Since music is opinion based, one music style can't be declared superior to another, it's all a matter of preference. Some prefer classical music like Mozart, Vivaldi or Bach, others prefer country, jazz, r&b, pop or rock music. No need to bash on other peoples' music tastes just because they don't match yours. Legendary piece of work by Mozart here nonetheless.
@RandumLuve you're perfectly right. that's immortal melody. not 1-2 weekly early shity rnb or gansta bitch style rap. sad but I realized later your age
@RandumLuve You are wise beyound your years, my friend, when I was 16 I was listening to...crap. Then I saw the classic movie Wuthering Heights (1939, Olivier-Oberon) and this piece was featured in a pivotal scene-- and I became interested in this kind of music.
if the advertiser wanted me not to skip its commercial, it should have played this in the background instead of whatever song it was that I heard. i would have been more than happy to listen to its message if that were the case.
