  • Hey I haven't seen Zach since he was 7 years old.I ask him to sit in with my band in Nashville in 1999 we did The House of the Rising Sun and some rock & roll.I am a Big Fan of his Daddy's if any body reads this and sees old Steven have the master give old Floyd Tebeaux a Hollerin!

One more thing I always new The Zachmyster would be a Whooper Snapper on Guitar and a class kid as always. God Bless Ya'll

  • @dennyleewilliams1 very very cool!! :) This was the finest graduation I have ever had the privilege of camera directing. Zach stole the show--and did it with class!! (no pun intended; haha) In fact, truth be told, I never cared much for the Joe Cocker version of this tune until I heard Zach's performance. It impressed me enough to master it and post it on youtube. Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to comment. God bless you as well.

  • Hey Zach Uncle Denny in Nashville Rock On My Boy!

  • @dennyleewilliams1 Nice to meet you. I'm the guy who live camera directed Zach's performance along with the graduation. This video has been edited/mastered so feel free to forward the link along to Zach... he might like to see this finished version. :)

  • My god, your guitar sounds exactly like SRV's. Great tone!

  • This piece reminds me of the performance by Joe Cocker at tWoodstock

  • Hey Zach, I still come by and check out your video. I always show it to people who haven't seen it before. It still blows me away. Keep on rockin.

  • Well Done, This was exellent

  • @FlashnYTPproduction.... thanks so much for stopping by and taking the time to comment!! :)

  • pretty sick well done

    funny entrance

  • yeah... and the sound guy cringed when he plugged the hot wire into his guitar! His facial expression was priceless! :D

  • @Hipster55 sounds almost drumm-like in the video though XD

  • you fucked that song up

  • haha... how so?

  • are u a chick or something? No, then why are you singing like one?

  • Neither-- I'm the Live Camera Director and video editor who put this little video together!

  • @Hipster55

Sir, who hired you for this? Do you remember? Because I'm graduating from this school and the ceremony is going to be at the same place and I just learned that my band was picked to play at the ceremony, I was wondering if the school hired you to do this video or if it was some private thing (like a parent or something) because it's very well done and if possible I'd love to have the same thing done this year. Also if it was private, how much do you charge?

  • @AlecW1234 LTHS contracted the venue and the venue contracted me and my camera crew. I believe the school will make the raw capture of the graduation video available. In this youtube video, I took the raw video and adjusted it in post ensuring all camera shots looked and sounded good along with some signature processing that give it a pro look & feel. [MORE]

  • @AlecW1234 Unfortunately, I will not be there this year. However, they have a good group of people who run cameras so I'm sure they will capture the performance satisfactorily. I keep in touch with the guys there, so If you would like custom editing on your band's performance. Let me know and I'll see what can be done. Break a leg! :D

  • Hating for the sole purpose of hating... classy, man. Classy.

  • Can we all just get along!? ;)

  • Outstanding!!!!

  • Wow. Great job! =D

  • ha my friend from england recently moved from over here to lake travis and aparently he goes to this school it lks kwl

  • Great Composition! Rockn guitar, sax, drums, BU Vox, horn section and bassist. Special moment for the LT Grads 2008. :)

  • This is really great! I just wish he sang a little more and with more 'oomph!', if that makes sense. Part of why Joe Cocker's cover is so good is the new energy it brings to The Beatle's version.

  • Austin Simmons is the best part of this video

Simmons is my man, greatest bass player at LTHS

  • Hey, your're great, Zach!!! Really enjoyed the video. Those back-up girls are good, too.

    Tom Brumley

  • Wow! I was one of the alto sax players performing in this. I gotta say, not only did it sound awesome, but the camera work was good too!

  • Thanks for your kind words, Bazooski. You guys did an amazing job as well!! The TV crew had alot of fun shooting this too!

There were a couple of items that I cleaned up and enhanced in post to make it extra special. The original taping does not include this edited/enhanced version... it only exists here.

So tell everyone you know to come check it out and leave comments, rate the vid, etc. ENJOY!!

  • Zack rocks! He is an outstanding musician and an all-around great guy! Your future is bright! The LT Jazz band did a super job! And the backup singers too!

  • I don't know how I got mackbrown4pres but I must be under someone else's name. It's Marita.

  • He's my cousin, too! Zach, that was cool! You need to try out for American Idol! So I guess we're all related?

  • I wouldn't mind seeing him on American Idol myself, but you know how full of &$%! Simon Cowell is, and they don't accept people who PLAY AN INSTRUMENT, so that's out My hope is that he finds success the old fashioned way-touring and recording. This video shows that he will.

  • Last time I saw Zack was at my brother's (his uncle) 50th birthday, Sept 2000. The little kid done grown up! You rock Zack!!

  • yeah i too am related to Zach through marriage. What an amazing musician. I wish him all the best.....

  • That was my cousin....pretty good...don't you think?
