not quite, this is an engine designed for a plane (radial). A beetle and an RX7 had a ROTARY engine. I personally find the rotary engine to be my favorite, over any standard engine out there.

hmm it's a very good project, but i don't think it's gonna be good for cars... i't big and maybe doesn't give so much power :P but dunno maybe i'm wrong!

the otto motor is really unefficient, too, and the technic in it cases lots of problems, but i think too, it would not make sense, pneumatic is very short !

I like your timing system for the valves. simple. I have my 3 piston radial frame built and stuff but I still need to come up with a timing system. I was going for something unique, for now, it just sits. lol.

cant remember, i geared it up by 9x got something near 800, built a single piston engine and fly wheal, got 1200 geared up

The Radial Engine Powers a propellor (i did not attach the RC Aeroplane Prop that i modified)which would propel some thing. not powerful enough at moment to move some thing but gives off a strong wind.
