I'm thinking that drop catch and live catching may help play on this game significantly. Hard to do with 2" flips for sure. Justification is the small roto target pedals access. About the size of a pinball, hard as hell shots to make I'm sure. Really lovely, amazing game.
@PHoFPhotos Actually, the flipper angle on this game doesn't set up well for drop/live catches strategy wise. If you're playing the game to scores specials by lighting numbers from hitting the roto targets, it's a high shot on the flipper to hit the roto target. You do better by bump passing from one side to the other and letting the ball roll up the flipper to take a shot or by flipping early to take a high angle shot directly. The "sweet shot" setup for this game is the alleys on either side.
Great graphics, not so good play action. I suspect if this had been the design on a later 3" flipper game it would be more action/fun. I'm sure if one masters the 2" flippers this game is much better. Sadly your demo of the gameplay shows it to be rather boring and drains quickly.
I love this table,, I remember playing this in a little place called snackarama ??in piccadilly circus about 40 years ago.. nearly brings a tear to my eye
@MegaPloughman I've been to Piccadilly but sadly there was no pinball there anymore, glad you enjoyed the vid though, and the game is definately a classic. :) Still draws attention when people come over....
@justincasekazoo I do still have it and will put that on the list for next....as you can tell I don't do it that often, but will get something up eventually...thanks for watching!
I recognise that machine. Same game was used in Tommy, it's the machine Sir Elton John was playing for Pinball Wizard. Although for the movie Buckaroo was somewhat 'dressed-up'.

Is this game supposed to have the flower and the star dead/pop bumper cap configuration?

I noticed you have a Gigi pinball machine. Could you make a video of that for us if you still have it?

I loled at 4:41; "I have had better balls." is a funny double entendre.
