I just had SL put in the parts are not right I went to another consultant to get her opinion and she said I need to notify her about the parting and that sister-locks have a grid pattern that u must follow. Well I have a follow up appt on Sunday and I will be asking her to take it down and if she does not want to redo it I will find another consultant
$450 is a lot of money to mess up someone's sisterlocks. It's a free country and if you decided to mention the person's name, that will perhaps save someone else the heartache you went through!

You complained and she messed up your hair on purpose - report her to the BBB and make her sorry ass sorry! I have had dumb ass cosmetologists mess up my hair on purpose and you need to make them face the consequences or they will keep doing this crap!

Wow interesting. I had a similar situation when I was in the install phase about 4 1/2 yrs ago. The loctician gave me a patch of "hybrid locks" that she was "inventing". I didn't realize it until I got home that she gave me a patch of twisties and then used the SL tool to "lock" them!!! I made her take them out and redo that patch and I was satisfied.
I am a consultant and i never have any problem if she did a bad job you should not go back but next time in any case go back to the person let them solve it first because that is why she said what she said to you and if the problem does not solve then move on but did you have to go there we all make mistakes OMG
I wished I had checked the parting. My hair has "organic" parting in the front. So I don't have any straight lines. But in the end it can come out. I don't think i will be putting them in again but after 4 years, this is water under the bridge. My "master loctian also did not wash or style"

One had been recently certified and was excellent the other certified for several years and I couldn't leave quick enough and didn't even put test locks in?! The trainee was very nice but clueless and waaay overpriced. Word to the wise shop around and do extensive research!

If anything i could of taken her to court for misadvertising herself. I paid for sisterlocks that's not what i received. I have documentation to prove that. Im not really worried about it !! Enyoyed the vid. Sorry to hear. You should have had pictures taken of the full head to send with your complaint. I did not reasearch sisterlocks or my consultant I was lucky I bagged a good one. That style is very cute, enjoy your hair while it is growing. I did not appreciate my short hair at the time.

Technically you really shouldnt be doing twists and stuff with your new sisterlocs. If you over manipulate your hair now you will not be happy later.
