The most important person in Renee's life has been her father, Robert Irving "Bobby" Sandstrom (born 1934). In addition to performing with Renee and training her musically, Bobby has worked tirelessly for many decades to provide the secure, financial climate necessary for Renee's artistic development. In the past, Bobby had been an ad agent employed by Creative Images Ad Agency but in 2010, Bobby successfully earned his license to sell life insurance, accident insurance, and health insurance.
I think Martika was the best overall however Renee is my favourite too. I think it's because she reminds me of someone I knew as well as being just so damn talented!
I'm trying to download this song, but I can't find it!! Does anyone have it? If so, please just message me and I'll give you my email so you can send it to me! Please and thank you!
It's been a long time so I dont' know who i'd've put third and beyond but in a distant second was stacy, but my dream girl during that time, Renee Sands, was and is still my all time favorite.
This is absolutely vile, how can a child that has not gone through past disappointments sing a song about picking yourself up again? No charisma, no spirit just tacky and awful.

People watch whatever they want to on youtube, that's the whole logic behind it, doesn't mean you have to like the video. What a bloody awful performance. If you enjoy something like this I should hand you the business card of my shrink. It's an insult to Madonna really.
Off the top of my head other than this and Into The Groove they did Holiday (sung by Stacy & Renee with a little Martika at the end) Material Girl (sung by Stacy, Renee and Martika), Angel (sung by Renee), Lucky Star (Rahsaan singing lead, he was good but I wish Renee had sung lead) Sidewalk Talk (Martika sung lead) which I know is technically a Jellybean song but Madonna was the singer and True Blue. (Sung by Connie, it's good but I think it would have been even better if Renee had sung it. :D)
Now that you mention it, it's funny how the Madonna covers dried up once Renee left. (Though it could also have been because Madge started moving into more blatantly sexual material.)
Yeah, I can't imagine Disney letting them sing Justify My Love and Hanky Panky, lol! (Then again Hanky Panky was in Dick Tracy which was a Disney movie.)
wow!! so cool that they covered an unreleased Madonna song!!! love it!!! i must of missed this episode lol\

Renee was definitely the go-to Madonna girl. Stacy was the Belinda Carlisle queen.

Renee Sands is my favorite singer of this show, followed by a close second Haylie, and a distant third stacie.

You should check out the kids singing "Physical"...its hilariously wrong. It paved the way for Kidz bop
