From an artistic standpoint, yes. Black metal is very real in a sense of what is happening, and if you're heavily involved in the storyline of an anime, knowing that from a writers point of view what he's writing is in theory real to him, in his mind, then it is just as real.

So, artistically speaking, yes, it makes perfect sense. However, artistic standpoint aside, nonfictional animated fantasy story does not mix with black metal.
